Megan has a passion for customer service and creating lasting relationships with colleagues and clients. Her career began in customer service and business support roles, graduating with experience in project coordination and project management roles. With a number of close family and friends involved in the building industry, it was destined that eventually, she would end up working in the industry herself.
Megan grew up on a farm and has good practical sense. This combined with her natural DIY Kiwi attitude makes Megan a great problem solver with excellent attention to detail. After working in the corporate industry her entire career, she felt a desire to work for a small privately-owned business, which is where Refresh came in. Megan has always been interested in renovations and transforming something dated or damaged into a beautiful space once again is one of her passions.
Having worked in various customer-facing roles in her career, Megan understands the importance of managing customer expectations and delivering exceptional customer experience. This, mixed with her ability to create excellent relationships with her trades, helps her to deliver outstanding projects time and again. Megan’s goal to deliver successful projects for her clients is achieved by understanding their vision, communicating clearly and frequently with them, and keeping all parties’ stress levels to a minimum. It is also very important to Megan to maintain a trustworthy and reliable relationship with her trades, which always helps in running a project smoothly.
Outside of work you will find Megan in the kitchen, garden or starting a new DIY project at her new home. When a holiday or long weekend permits, she will pack up the car and go camping, living off the grid for as long as she can. In her early 20’s Megan spent some time travelling through Europe, North America and South-East Asia, and lived in Melbourne for two years, however, she always knew she would return to her friends and family in her homeland.
