Tiled splashbacks, white colour schemes and wooden floors are highly sought-after - if this year’s 2020 Refresh Renovations Kitchen of the Year projects are anything to go by. Check out this year's top kitchen makeovers, as voted by you!

Gold Award

Leigh McDonald for a "Kitchen renovation and new butler’s pantry in Melbourne"

A new bespoke butler’s pantry is the added “wow” factor in this stylish kitchen renovation. Overhead storage makes it easy to keep this kitchen free of clutter while LED strip lighting illuminates the engineered quartz benchtops and splashbacks. Now that the renovation is complete, the homeowners say it is a “pleasure to be in the kitchen every day”.

Silver Award

Mandy and Lawrie Foster for "A reinvented kitchen in Hamilton"

Chic and modern, this open-plan kitchen was designed with socialising in mind. A more spacious layout has given the homeowners more room to cook together while luxury vinyl flooring, a white tiled splashback and black accents are all on-trend with Scandinavian design. The homeowners say they now “love the kitchen”.

Bronze Award

Mark Morrison for "A kitchen renovation in Wellington"

This townhouse kitchen makeover was re-designed with baking in mind. More bench space, more light and a style that suited the rest of the house were all high on the homeowner’s wishlist. She certainly achieved this. New cabinets, a tiled splashback, updated flooring and a splash of paint have resulted in a “much more liveable space”.
