This is the second time we have engaged Refresh Renovations - South East and Leigh McDonald to transform our home. On this occasion we enlisted Refresh to make over our main bathroom after our stunning kitchen renovation earlier in the year. Leigh was able to make our vision a reality and assisted us in making a functional, practical and aesthetically beautiful space that is filled with natural light and modern fixtures. The trades used were very professional and highly skilled, lead by Richard Naudi. The workmanship is top quality and the whole process was stress free . Communication was excellent and consultation on the build was exceptional. All the trades were very respectful of our space and keeping the area safe and clean. We are delighted with the end product and look forward to using Refresh South East again for project number 3.

Unfortunately our renovations were severely hampered by Covid 19. However, the efforts of Leigh McDonald to ensure we were delivered an outstanding renovation, despite all the problems, were absolutely superb.

I used Leigh and this team at Refresh Renovations East & South East territory recently for a small powder room update. Even though it was a small job I was made to feel as important as if it had been a full bathroom renovation! All work was done quickly and to the highest of levels. I have no hesitation in recommending Leigh and his staff for any job - big or small!

We knew we wanted to stay in our home as long as possible but with only 3 bedrooms and one living space room was getting tight with toys galore after having our son in 2017.   I reached out to the land of facebook and a friend reached out and advised her brother in law Leigh owned his own renovations business and to have a look.   I jumped on to the facebook page and immediately saw a garage conversion and loved the results. I knew what I wanted and I knew I wanted quality work and I didn’t want to have to deal with organising tradies etc myself so it worked out well to go through someone who would do it all for us.   We met with Leigh and he went through the process and straight away we felt comfortable with him.   The process was smooth enough, and each step was met with lots of communication along the way. We always knew where we stood in the process and there was never any unknown with Leigh.   Once we agreed to the price and the permit was approved it was all steam ahead from there.   Any questions throughout the process Leigh was very quick to respond and any concerns he was right on top of it and onto it promptly.   Whilst the cost of doing jobs like this doesn’t come cheap especially when you are using a renovation specialist, it does take the stress out of having to arrange tradies, quotes, etc and that for us meant more than saving some money.   Overall we are very very happy with the renovation, it has allowed us to stay in our home which we built for many more years and provided us much more room and a lovely outdoor pergola for upcoming summer.   Love our new space, Thank you so much Leigh, Richard, Rob, and all the boys!

Thank you to Leigh and his team at Refresh from the East and South East territory. They built an amazing deck area for us and we are loving having the extra living space. They were all very professional and the quality of work was outstanding from start to finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. 

As an inexperienced renovator with no trade skills, contacts or ideas heading into a renovation is a very daunting process. When I called Leigh to come out and give me a run down on the process involved in a garage conversion I felt immediately assured that I’d made a smart decision in outsourcing this overwhelming task. To Leigh’s credit despite his belief that the project might not even get off the ground due to council regulations he did the professional thing and went through with the presentation anyway. Fortunately he was only half right and the project could continue. The entire process from start to finish was entirely stress free, the only hands on involvement I was required to have was choosing flooring, fittings and finishes (the only parts I felt reasonably comfortable in having input). All the trades were organised and managed, materials and deliveries coordinated, as well as a skip bin for demolition and a cleaner to finish it all off, all I had to do was give him an ok via text. All this right through the stage 2 and 3 lockdown restrictions. The finished product significantly exceeds our expectations and I could not recommend Leigh and the team at Refresh Renovations East & South East any higher!

Service couldn’t be faulted. There were a couple of issues once the job was finished and Leigh organised for these to be rectified very quickly, even coming out on the weekend.

We had an excellent experience using Refresh Renovations East and South East. We conducted a major renovation, with rooms remodelled, extensions, a new roof, windows, doors and multi outdoor entertainment areas, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. From the initial consultation and design discussions right through to completion of the renovation, Leigh provided friendly, informative and very responsive customer service. We were always kept updated on future activities and any decisions that were required to made to ensure everything progressed efficiently. Even with the COVID restrictions Leigh managed to limit the impact on the overall timetable and importantly we had no surprises along the way. The project finished slightly over time due to COVID and the numerous additional changes that we requested, but were still on budget and we couldn’t be more pleased with the fantastic end result. The attention to detail by the builder; Richard and the quality workmanship by all the tradespeople, ensured that our renovation was of high quality with an exceptional finish. From our initial thoughts and concepts, what eventuated as the final product, exceeded our expectations and we were blown away with the end result. We would highly recommend Leigh, Richard and his team. 

I entrusted the job to Leigh as I was organizing on behalf of my 77 year old father. Leigh's approach, communication, skill set and trades made the entire process from start to completion a breeze. The final result looks amazing thank's to the entire team effort, my father is ecstatic with the way the entire project looks - a million dollars and on trend also. 

Leigh and the entire team at Refresh Renovations were a great pleasure to deal with from the onset. Leigh understood my concerns and reservations as I was project managing the major renovation of the suite, bathroom, toilet, laundry on behalf of my 77 year old father while he was away. Having been previously in the building industry as a project manager, the ease of daily communication, design assistance, Leigh's skill level, understanding, the skill level of all trades was second to none, alleviating any concerns that I knew could potentially but did NOT arise. The entire project including additional items such as new bi-fold doors, stacker doors, additional lighting and so on has completely transformed my father's home, adding a significant increase to the value as a result. Leigh and myself often joked that I would move in and put Dad elsewhere LOL. I unreservedly recommend to anyone that they consider Refresh Renovations and Leigh before making a final decision such as I did. An extremely Happy Customer.

Hard-working trades - efficient and detail orientated, made sure our space was utilised efficiently and the end result exceeded our expectations. Very professional and extremely helpful. Leigh kept me informed about the comings and goings of all the tradespeople. This was important as I have an old dog who lives in the house and I was at work some of the days. Richard Andrew and Hussain were fantastic closing the doors so that he didn't escape. He's a bit of a Houdini with no road sense so this was important to me. I couldn't be happier with the end result. My ensuite is better than I could have hoped for as it is a small space. It's opened it up and seems so much larger. Very much enjoying my spacious shower.
