Step 1
Briefing / Initial Consultation
Starting off your bathroom renovation journey with a thorough consultation gets everyone on the same page. Step 2
Concept and Feasibility
Once you’ve shared your goals, you and your Renovation Consultant will review concept designs to determine what’s achievable. You may find that you need to make tweaks to come in under budget, or that you can make some unexpected upgrades such as opting for a marble vanity. Regardless of what they may be, this is a great stage in the process to make changes to your bathroom design.
Step 3
Working Drawings and Costing
Working drawings are the next step. They differ from concept drawings because they take into account the functionality of your design and focus on aspects such as structural integrity and architectural engineering. You’ll always be in control, but to avoid additional expenses and delays further along, this is when you want to make any changes to the plans as it’s the last step before building begins. If no further alterations are necessary, you’ll be presented with a fixed quote and contract to sign off on before moving forward.
Step 4
Build / Construction Stage
Now is when you get to sit back and watch your bathroom take shape. Reliable contractors and trusted tradespeople, coordinated by your Renovation Consultant, will transform your existing space into the bathroom you've been dreaming of. If any unexpected issues arise, you can rest assured they’ll be dealt with promptly and with minimal disruption to your daily routine.
Step 5
Your Finished Renovation
That’s it! Your renovation is finished! Alongside your fantastic new bathroom, your Renovation Consultant will provide you with the necessary council documentation. A completed Code of Compliance certificate is required to prove that all craftsmanship was completed to a high standard. Keep that somewhere safe, and then enjoy your new bathroom!
